Funny Foto Friday

Ok, purposely misspelling photos to match the F theme is stupid, I realize. For that I apologize, sometimes I’m not nearly as clever or witty as I seem to think (by sometimes I mean most of the time).

For today’s FUNNY FOTO FRIDAY, I’ve compiled an assortment of great pics from the web. I don’t really care if you don’t like them, or find them offensive, or don’t get it. I do. If you don’t get it, you’re probably failing at something anyways. Special shoutout to the thread, you know where you are.

Without further adieu, here’s the ph(F)otos.

Oh yeah, it make take a second for them all to load. Patience. Probably a minute or two. Or more. Whatevs.

Well We Made It Out Alive

Brian didn’t get slaughtered from the spooky omens. I as well made it. Booooring, I know. Maybe next time. I just got back from my trip to Denver / Boulder, although I stayed in Westminster. Indiana peeps, think of it this way –> Denver = Indy but better, Boulder = Bloomington but better, and Westminster = Speedway or any other section of the west side of Indy, but equally sucky.

Trip was awesome, met with a ton of cool people and companies in both Boulder and Denver. Can’t wait to get out there in May and start working.

This pic was taken from my Blackberry Camera, which unfortunately sucks. But, you still get the point. There’s a ton of cool hiking / climbing / sweet beer drinking (Mountain Sun!) to enjoy out there, so this particular pic is from a hike me and Ally took in the Flatirons. I wish my camera was better, but what can ya do. I’ll buy a real camera at some point, but until then, built-in camera on phone it is.

Boulder Flatirons

I really don’t have anything funny or even remotely interesting to say, but I did think I should let my 5 readers know that I didn’t stop blogging, was just outta town!

I’ll be back on track tomorrow or next week with some material that won’t make you want to poke yourself with a branding iron to wake up from this boring ass blog post.

Spooky Omens Occurring!

As we approach yet another Friday the 13th, spooky things are happening. Everywhere. All around us. They don’t see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don’t know they’re dead. OK, enough of the Sixth Sense quips.

Courtesy of Gmail,  my life is now in peril. Why, you ask? Two separate instances are combining to form a super-duo of death that will provide what is surely to be a night of gruesome events, pale scary looking children singing to us via our bathroom mirrors, and hopefully zombies of some form or another. Kinda like that new ‘horror’ movie with the hilarious name,  ‘The Haunting in Connecticut’.

To completely go off course, as I like to do, I wonder this - why must all horror movies have ‘the’ before it? The Omen, The Sign, The Grudge, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The The, The Dumb Movie Name, and so on and so forth. Some things are never meant to be understood I guess. PS - you’re going to say “But Pete, ‘Saw’ 1-8!!”, to which I reply “Saw is stupid, go away”.

Anywhoo, you might be asking why this bad things are destined to happen? Gmail is the culprit, more specifically, Gmails awesome spam filters. The screenshots show us why - my spam folder is at 666. My roommate Brian’s (a Peter Hall Blog celebrity at this point) spam filter is at 13.

Zoh. My. God. Zah.

We’re doomed. Hopefully, only Brian gets slaughtered, as I so suggest. I’m alright with that.  Will  1/2 of Team Cool live to see another day? Will a night of sheer terror ensue? Will Sawyer go back to Kate? How is Hurley still a  blimp after being on an island for months? Why is it dark again when I go to work? Oh yeah, stupid DST. WILL THEY EVER GET OFF OF THE ISLAND???? Only time will tell.

Trying Out This Newfangled Lifeblob

Supposedly, this puts things into a time line. Or something. Will mess around with more later. Initially, not impressed.

Hooray, My Nerdiness is Rubbing Off On Family and Friends!

Ohhi I'm upgrading your ram peter hall

Yep, that’s me. Going to work. It’s actually my daily outfit, I have five exact replicas so I can be sure to look my best on a daily basis. Yes, the shirt is pink, and yes, it is short sleeved. Oh, and yes, the tie’s from Goodwill. The odds of getting the same 5 ties at the same Goodwill is staggering, but that’s what happened. About the joke with my mug - you might get if you have seen a number of those good ol’ Internet jokes attached to pictures. If not, don’t care, move along.

Point of today’s blog - it always makes me feel better when I get people to do things that I do - typically, to make me feel better about being such a geek. Although I don’t really care that much. But I care enough to write about. Quite the conundrum, crossroads, fork in the road mental battle I’m having.

Now that I’m off track, its time to get back on the wagon. First and foremost, public humiliation goes out to my ‘crusty’ (his term, not mine) older brother Chris, who has not only started using Twitter, but also created a blog! It’s a Blogger blog, as opposed to a Wordpress blog, but we won’t hold that against him. Plus, it’s entitled ‘Kumayaki’, which means nothing to me except that he’s much more of a nerd than he would like to admit.

Next up for him, getting him to use desktop Tweeting platforms Tweetdeck or Twhirl. Baby Steps, What About Bob style.

Moving on, I got my roommate Brian on Twitter as well. He loves Facebook, so this wasn’t as difficult. Nor do I have a good story to go along with it. He’s even using URL shorteners and retweeting stuff already, a couple days in. Not bad for a rook.

Here’s the point, if you can even call it that. Friends and family, beware - if you aren’t careful, I just might get cha too. MUHAHAHAHAWHHHAHAHA.
